Path of Becoming a Surgeon

If you decide at the earliest possible that you want to be a surgeon is more convenient. You need to enrol in a pre-undergraduate study. Then. three years of medical school. Here, you will study your selected field. When you start medical school, you need to decide on which department you want to work under. By the end of your medical school year, you’ll be asked to choose your speciality area before you start your residency. 

You will start your residency in your speciality area. Choose your residency place carefully. Determine a place that could help you enhance your skill. A mentor that could help you is also essential when choosing your residency place.

When you read the path of becoming a surgeon, it might scare you. Seven years of study while my friends already have a stable jobs and building a family. Remember that when you get into this, it is for yourself and society. Your friend might have a quicker start but you will be able to give back to the community. Be able to help others and meet new people every day. You are the person that our society will look up to and will forever be grateful for. Stop comparing your life with other people and focus on the benefits you will get at the end of your journey. Not to mention that a surgeon’s salary is worth the hard work. You can do this!
